The Youth are the foundation of the Pittsburgh Community. As such, the Youth Council is vital to the work of PCIA in every way. The vision of the PCIA Youth Council is of a community, which produces youth leaders who are able to champion Pittsburgh into the future. To this end, the PCIA Youth Coucil provides Pittsburgh's youth opportunities for comprehensive development in the following areas:

• Character Development
• Community Involvement
• Leadership Development
• Education (Academic, Cultural, Trade Skills, etc)
• Health, Hygience, & Nutrition
• Life Skills
